When a florist plans their wedding, you know the florals are going to be EXTRA! Jay and Nick's autumnal-themed wedding was a stunning celebration of their relationship and their style, filled with autumnal elegance and whimsical fun.

Describing their theme as “muted autumnal glam, with a whimsical twist”, Jay and Nick took inspiration from the autumn season and the natural surroundings of the venue. Jay was also inspired by Billy Porter for his suit. The florals were all autumn colours and textures, and he snuck in some carnations and alstroemeria as a nod to his late grandad’s garden.

Feeling like a small fish in a very large pond, surrounded by amazing wedding suppliers, I didn't think I had a chance, but just to be a finalist was good enough for me. So when I won my region that was the icing on the cake, so then to have won overall florist this completely took m y breath away and I was in complete shock.
I am so proud to have achieved these awards with in the first 2 years of opening Floral Couture it really was a great big pat on the back for all the hard work me and the team have put in.

Jay is an independent florist covering Dorset and surrounding areas, specialising in wedding floral design as well as events, occasions and sympathy. Stunning arrangements incorporated astillbe, carnations erynguim, gypsophila, nigelas and veronicas.
